November 2009

November really flew by! (So much so that it is already mid-January and I am just now posting this) - hey, I have a baby so I have an excuse!! :)

Chase is 10 months now and has learned to stand up on his own (without using something to pull himself up!) He loves to stand by the doors and look at everything outside.

He enjoyed his first trip to Sugar Sand Park and playing on the playground.

Chase also went to his 2nd UM game and loved sitting all by himself!

Until he passed out during the whole 4th quarter!

Chase's 1st Thanksgiving!

We went to Aunt Marcia's and had a GREAT time!

Football and Turkey. That's what it's all about!

Followed by a nice Thanksgiving nap :)

We had such a great day!

Another nap for Daddy and Chase.

Trip to Orlando with all the cousins and the 2nd generation babies!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Here is the official Halloween post! Chase was the cutest monkey ever! We had been wanting him to be a monkey because he's always climbing up on us, crawling his way up, so we always call him "our little monkey!" I was having a hard time finding a costume that I actually liked, and then his little cousin Grace up in NY saw this costume and told her mom she just HAD to get it for Chase and sent it to us! We LOVE it!!

On Halloween night, we went over to the Amelchenko's and all the babies got to celebrate their first Halloween together (well, it actually wasn't Zach or Ella's first Halloween, but last year they were just little babies so they don't even remember it!) It was SO much fun. The kids all looked so cute and just had so much fun playing together, and we even went out "trick-or-treating" to a couple different neighbor's houses. Here are a few pictures of the kids...unfortunately my camera battery died just as we set out trick or treating, so hopefully I can get some pictures from them to post here later. (Go figure, you would think I would know better! I only brought my point-and-shoot with me that night.)

Zach was very intrigued with Chase's costume!

Seriously, he was really curious!

So Chase decides to bite him!

Then Chase decides to make a quick getaway but Zachy's got his tail!

The three kiddos: Zach, Chase and Ella, all ready to trick or treat! (The best part of this picture is Zach holding the pumpkin in his mouth!)

Passed out after a long day! :)

The next day, we went to see Lincoln since we missed him on Halloween. We had to get the boys together in their "Thing 1" and "Thing 2" shirts!
Are they not the cutest things ever?!!

Can't wait til next Halloween!!

FALL IN FLORIDA!

Lots going on this month....football, pumpkins....

First, we took Chase to his first UM game! Since we have season tickets with a big group of friends, we all decided ahead of time we would bring the babies all to one game this year. Chase enjoyed his first college football game - although the outcome of the game was not good (Canes lost in overtime 40-37), but we still had fun.

Chase is ready to tailgate, keys in hand!

Chase, Mommy and Daddy ready to cheer on the Hurricanes!

He was having so much fun!

Chase and his buddy Lincoln both had their matching UM jerseys!

Celebrating a UM touchdown!

Chase was more interested in playing with Daddy's hat, though.

Family photo at the Canes game.

C-A-N-E-S Canes! He is learning the cheer!

Jenny and Ella, Angie and Lincoln, me and Chase.

And...here we are ONE YEAR AGO - Jenny, Angie and me - all pregnant!

Next up, we took Chase to the PUMPKIN PATCH
to get ready for his first Halloween! These are so cute! Although, it was tough to get any smiles out of him, I think out of the 300 or so pictures I took he smiled for maybe 5 of them! That is so unlike him, too. All the pumpkins were probably a bit overwhelming.

He did enjoy eating the hay. Lovely.

There's a smile!

Just 'chillin.

I love the baby pumpkins. He fit right in with those!

Chase and Ella stare each other down while Ella stakes her claim.
"I saw this one first."
